Made from 2mm thick MLV compound rubber with a felt backing, our Heavy Duty Sound Deadening Material is perfect for classic and vintage car restorations, campervan conversions, boats, trucks and much more. A highly versatile product that replaces the older Bitumen products.

• 2mm, heavy duty thickness
• 1 metre wide, sold by the linear metre (orders over 1 metre length will be sent as a complete piece)
• Made from a high density rubber MLV compound with felt backing
• Stops both high and low frequency vibration and noise
• Can be moulded to shape when applied with gentle heat
• Easy to cut and shape using a knife, snips or heavy duty scissors
• Flame retardant
• Water resistant
• 3500 g/sm
• Stable between -20°C and +100°C
• Suitable for insulating and sound deadening
• Can be fixed in place with a high temp glue, OEM fixings points with star washers or heavy duty double sided tape
• The rear of the material is the felt side

This product works well alongside our thermal foild faced insulation and our polyester insulation to create an effective sound and thermal insulator.
